ReplyDeleteICT is quite useful in a situation where we need to solely depend on a virtual condition as it is in case of this pandemic,otherwise we may use a part of it (partial ICT) on a regular basis to make teaching-learning process more effective & interactive. According to me it is always advisable to create a blended system of real & virtual environment for a sustainable holistic advancement of human civilisation.

ReplyDeleteDuring the pandemic I kept contact with students through Google meet and after the meet if any did not join, I took the initiative to call them by phone and enquire what was the problem for nit attending the class. Through such effort, students have hardly been irregular and i added Principal to the group so she could check the attendance and voice her opinion. Students fearing Principal had to join the class.

Usage of different mediums of ICT gives the learners a clearer understanding of the lessons. Although it does come with a few setbacks because of the fact that not all students can access or attain good technological skills.

ReplyDeleteThough the traditional " Chalk and Talk" method is the best way for effective teaching learning where the teacher have a face to face interaction with the taught which enables the teacher to understand their limitations from the students facial expression and gestures, but which is possible only when classroom teaching is conducted.
DeleteThe pandemic has given us the opportunity to think beyond classroom teaching and this is where the advantages of ICT enabled teaching makes its presence felt.
For a teacher, teaching using ICT provides him or her with many advantages, one of the most important advantage is the teacher gets the opportunity to retrospect the contents prepared for the students and if their is any problem can make the required modifications suitable for the learners.
On the other hand the students are in a Win--Win situation where they have the liberty to go through the materials over and over again if they have certain confusions which is not possible in case of regular classroom classes.
Thus i feel blending regular classes with ICT enabled teaching is the way forward for learning to be fruitful as well as productive.
ICT helps both teachers and students in the teaching and learning process ,it helps both in making the teaching and learning more effective,interesting and feedback to improve in the field of learning
ReplyDeleteICT is helpful to the students as well as teachers. We can give various activities to them which are relevant to the topic and ask them to find out the answer. Those who have phones they can search it from their phone and can discuss with their classmates. It also increases the learning capacity of students as well as teachers. From that activities given them we can ask questions and assessment can be done.not only that but there are many other assessment can be done through ICT.

It is also fun for me since it helps me to explore different ways and means of imparting knowledge through technology to my students. I can use it in testing their knowledge, skills and understanding of the subject from their feedbacks, their respones and also through their scores while administering tests. After evaluating and analysing all their activities it helps me to understand their learning outcomes too.
It can support teachers by storing and recording information about how students are developing understanding of new material by taking some of the role of assessing and providing feedback to students so that teacher can focus on other aspects of supporting learning.

ICT is a support that both the teachers and students can rely not only for more interesting ways to learn and guide but also assess their progress and provide appropriate feedback to enhance learning.
ReplyDeleteIC help us to teach by enabling learning by using more than one sense organs. Ears, eyes . For example during the pandemic due to lockdown I use Google meet to have a virtual classroom interaction. Students could hear (audible) but they could visualize as the camera was focused on what I was written, key words , diagrams, sums. But since some needed additional help, I would make videos and send it so Students could again visualize what was taught especially sums and diagrams and understand the concepts. These materials could be stored for future references .
