The most pragmatic tool that we can think of is the mobile learning strategy which s affordable for parents to provide to their kids. learning materials could be shared using apps such as whatsapp or Google classroom the students are comfortable to handle. Live discussion can also be held using whatsapp or Google meet

ReplyDeleteFor me I would choose google meet wherein I can have a face to face interaction with the students though virtually. This would help to have a two way interaction in which students too could clarify their doubts and express their opinions simultaneously. apart from this I could also integrate the lessons with powerpoint presentations, videos and text of the subject matter.

We can present them with images and videos during the live interaction that can be received by them on their own device, thus engaging them with visual aid.

Like real class, here teacher-student, student-student conversation is possible,. Its makes learning interesting and interactive. ReplyDeleteThere are number of ICT tools that help Teaching-Learning process much more easier and interactive. Out of these I prefer most the WhatsApp and Google Meet. Through Google Meet literarily we can create a virtual classroom. In this Classroom we can discuss subject-related topics face to face so that everyone can share their issues instantly. By screen sharing sometimes learning can be more interesting. Lateron through WhatsApp we can share the pdf of the study materials and video clips of discussion on the important topics. Weekly or sometimes fortnightly assignments are given to judge the learners' development.

Through it a virtual class is possible where students can see the teacher's face and hear her talking. This makes the difference. Doubts can be clarified on the spot and directly. Besides Meet, I would use YouTube as an ICT tool. Self made videos using PPT and screen recorder can be uploaded on YouTube. Students can watch the video and give their comments as in likes or dislikes or giving a descriptive comment. The teacher sees the comments and addresses them accordingly, in a way to help students.

ReplyDeleteOne of the ICT tool I use because of the lockdown was connecting with students through Google meet platform. I was able to interact and teach and since interaction was there be able to make out the knowledge and depth of students understanding of the subject. At times when students needed additional help with sums say on elasticity of demand . I would do the sums and record, all the way explaining the formula , procedure and actually record the sum being done so students could follow and learn. Also when I give assignments, I give them through Google classroom, students can type the answers or write and send a pdf file to the virtual classroom.

ReplyDeleteIn addition to what i have been using for teaching my subject which is mathematics, i would love to use the software's GeoGebra, Tux Math and Km Plot. With these software's at our disposal we can really create an environment where the fear for the subject can be neutralized to a huge extent and the abstract form of mathematics can be simplified to a large extent.

ReplyDeleteThe only ICT tool that I used during remote learning is Gogle meet...Through this ,the students clear their doubts,get to interact among themselves and also with the teacher...The chapter being taught can be made more clear through this tool...Through Google meet ,as a teacher I can help students who are slow learners taking more time with them .

ReplyDeleteAfter going through the ICT tools for teaching learning & assessment, i found so many new and interesting tools that can really make the teaching and learning process effective. since the use of tool depends on the device and speed of internet, so, the ICT tools that i am using is watsapp and zoom meet, that can be used for delivering as well as for interaction.

ReplyDeleteDuring these dire situations, social networking app has been a very valuable source of teaching learning. Whats App has helped me to form groups of my students where I can share information to them through document files as well as video format and the student also can go through the materials and provide necessary feedback. It has helped us to remain in constant communication with each other, and even those students who were a little introvert in a face to face scenario in the class, feels rather easy to communicate through online mode.

ReplyDeleteThe ICT tools which are effective for remote learning are google classroom such as google meet and zoom meet, social networking app through whatsapp, making a video of the lesson plan and follow up through phone calls. These tools can make communication more easier and interactive as it enable students to have access to computers, mobile phones and internet so that they can better communicate with teachers and their classmates as well as teachers are able to reach out to students, colleagues and students parents. It gives students the opportunity to involve in the whatsapp group, participate in the lesson, able to interact with each other, sharing of ideas, improve in learnings, obtaining necessary information and also enable teachers to streamline the course, share notes, providing assignment, giving test and feedback.

ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic, WhatsApp is the only tool that i can use for teaching and learning because this application allows easy access for the students to all resources shared by the teacher, and they can share their assignments without much difficulty and this has become a primary tool for conducting teaching, learning and evaluation online.

ReplyDeletemany great ways in this remote learning. But, being practical, some students cannot
access to fast internet-data connection, so the only tool which is in easy access and
load in low speed internet-data are instant messangers to name one Whatsapp. Self
created audio commentary and video edited in formats that would easily load and
run in Whatsapp were loaded for the students to retrieve the information. And
feedbacks for the students were also send through Whatsapp in Google Forms by
posting these links for them to access. Therefore making it a primary tool for
teaching-learning process interactive and help students to understand the content
being taught.
To make ICT more interactive and interesting for the students, I used to send my notes through whatsApp, searching videos from YouTube channel in cartoon mode presentation and sometimes asking feedback from the students about the other going studies as they also feel importance that teachers are thinking of us.

OBS is a software that allows us to record the screen of a pc with inputs from a shared app like ppt, voice and video. It allows me to record my class videos almost similar to blackboard work. I have also used OBS along with Openboard app that has helped me to write on the screen

I have been using Google meet as one of the ICT tools to make my teaching learning process interactive but I also have to consider some students who have network issues and couldn't join the virtual classroom and therefore I also use whatsapp to send notes & explanations through videos & audios to them so that no one feels left out.
