Sketch your dream house using the three dimensional shapes like sphere, cone, cuboid, cube etc. and count the number of shapes you have used in the sketch. Appreciate the architectural beauty of the created sketch by using any medium of expression of your choice. You may express your thoughts in the form of a limerick (5 line humorous poem with lines 1, 2 and 5 rhyming to each other) or in the form of expressive passages. Share your limerick.

As I always dreamt of my dream house, today I sketch it with shapes of cubes, cylinders,cones. I see my family enjoying every moment together. I sit in my sqare shaped balcony and sip a coffee with the sun rising and making my day blessed. As I wake up my child and see my child eyes filled with joy. I see my parents playing with my kids in my garden area and their faces are filled with satisfaction.

For every season so magical!
My dream house is a place where I wish to live with my family. It should be a cuboidal shaped two bedroom cottage on the ground floor. The house should have a rectangular shaped balcony which is attached to cubical shaped drawing-cum-dining hall. It should have a kitchen and two bathrooms which are of cuboidal shaped attached to the bedroom. It should have a small conical shaped temple. All the rooms of my house should be well ventilated.

It would have ornate cuboids, cylinders, domes with pointed tops and short spires, cones and what have you! It would be painted in the brightest of colours with circles, triangles, squares, cones and ellipses, all merging into one grand design! Oh! what a house that would be!
ReplyDeleteComfort and warmth is the theme i used to design my ideal house. By using the variety of shapes (cubes, hemispheres, etc.) discussed, I was able to add depth and character to the structure. Using a 3 point perspective as the basic skeleton for the design, the dimensions and various areas were properly highlighted in the sketch.

ReplyDeleteMy dream house has a beautiful entrance with a spherical varanda with upright rectangular doors. The floor is made of square marbles and conical pillars leading to the spiral staircase. The lift is cylindrical facing the garden outside.
