In the process of implementing toy based pedagogy several toys are created. How can you use all the created toys effectively post classroom sessions?
Course 4: Activity 4 - Share your Thoughts
Sketch your dream house using the three dimensional shapes like sphere, cone, cuboid, cube etc. and count the number of shapes you have used in the sketch. Appreciate the architectural beauty of the created sketch by using any medium of expression of your choice. You may express your thoughts in the form of a limerick (5 line humorous poem with lines 1, 2 and 5 rhyming to each other) or in the form of expressive passages. Share your limerick.
It depends upon the teachers or the authorities to make use of it for the betterment of its pupils

ReplyDeletePost classroom sessions , the soft toys of the Indian Soldiers of the First World War can be shown to the students individually in a group of 5 students to understand the dress code of the soldiers during the Dirst World War and convey the theme of the poem. The students can know the socio- cultural history of that era.

Being a social studies teacher I feel using indigenous toys will make learning more effective and fun. Eg, In History ,coins, gods and goddesses,temple toys . In geography toy boats. In economics as well as in civics too eventually.
