During the pandemic the only way to get in touch with students was on line. Short teaching videos were prepared, study materials uploaded and interaction is by Group chat.
We had to seek for an online mode of teaching & learning during this pandemic. We tried to reach almost all the students from higher secondary section of our school. This was a major change in the teaching/learning process. Students have tried their best to cope up with the situation but some of them had severe network issues & some had no access to proper gadgets due to poverty. I can only say that we may start with a blended mode of teaching so that no student is left behind.
During this pandemic, I got in touch with my students through WhatsApp by sending them notes, videos, audios and also teaching them through Google Meet. I also assessed them though Google forms quizzes.
During this time of pandemic we have been trying to reach out to our students through online classes . Teaching online have been difficult because we cannot access every student since all of them are not able afford smartphones ....
During the pandemic, teaching and learning still continued and various online tools such as WhatsApp, Google Meet etc. were used to keep in touch with the learners. One of the major changes I used in my teaching is preparing short videos for the learners accompanied with the study materials. The link for students Feedback was share with the learners to understand the effectiveness of the material used and wherever modification or revision of the content is required.
During this pandemic we can't access to online classes for our students due to can't afford smart phones by our students and poor coverage of network..but we teachers went to school several times and distributed the notes ...
During COVID19 Pandemic situation when all academic institutions are literarily closed, we have been trying to reach to our students through online platforms like WhatsApp Groups, Google Meet, YouTube links etc. Though it was not an easy task as internet is not accessible in all places, moreover some of the students even do not have smartphones. Some of the changes I have introduced are setting different time schedules for online classes, recording voice clips related to Study materials etc..
We use mostly Google meet for explanation and interaction, Whatsapp or Google classroom for sending notes, assignments, short video recording (explanation) & Google assessment for evaluating the performances of the students.
During the pendamic online classes was the only option to keep in touch with the students.we kept in touch through whatsapp, personal call, Google classroom, Google meet, Explanation was done through short videos, ppt . Feedback was asked by giving them few questions after every chapter. It was a tough time to access all the students.so we used many app to access every students . Evaluation was done through Google assessment.
in the event of the pandemic 2020 -21, we faced certain difficulties in the teaching and learning process however the process continued and we are forced to adopt and apply various online platforms such as WhatsApp, Google Meet etc. to communicate and keep in touch with the learners. The situation witnessed a drastic change in the way I teach. I spent most of my time preparing daily lessons for the learners, identifying appropriate videos' links and sharing these links to the students. ii tried to get the feedback from the students when possible so as to be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the lessons delivered. it was a very difficult times as most of the learners do not have the facilities required.

in the course of the Covid 19 Pandemic, we resorted to online classes, we made use of platforms such as watsapp and Google meet etc. As a teacher I enthusiastically started making videos and framing assignments for the students and sharing it with them. However, the most disheartening part is when students don't have the means or facilities to recieve and earn from what we have prepared for them.
The only means to get in touch with the students was through Whatsapp. Many students were still left unconnected as they did not even have a moblie phone to access WhatsApp too. Most of the teachings has been through direct messages, audios and videos. Could not even use google meet.
During this time of pandemic we have been trying to reach out to our students Using whatsapp group to sends notes and using various online platform like Google Meet ,Zoom for explanations. . Teaching online have been difficult because of mobile networks and since many students are not able to afford smartphones.
Throughout the pandemic, we remained in touch with our students mainly through Whatsapp platform. Often at times google meet is used but many students find it hard to stay online during the whole duration of live google meet class due to network issues. We shared videos, assignments and study through the various groups created in Whatsapp amongst teachers and students. The major change in my teaching was creating videos for my lessons and sharing links from certain platforms that corelate with the learner's lessons. Creating the videos was time consuming because of lack of knowledge to do so. But they felt productive as we could insert images or videos to aid our teaching. But when asked for feedback about them from the learners, some would say they don't have space to download them, some don't even watch, others don't have the correct format for opening such videos. Although it is somewhat helpful, it lacks the basic interactive session that we get from face to face interactions in classroom.
Using blended mode, mobile learning through platforms, such as wats app, telegram, Google forms for check in attendance etc. Personal phone call followups is made to students who are not online so as to check in on their learning progress.
We conducted online classes via video conferencing platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom. Google classroom is being maintained for the students to be able to access the reading materials and notes regarding the subject. But sometimes due to network issues we also maintain whatsapp group to send study materials for student and videos. We also use to record powerpoint presentation for various explanation on the chapters and send them to students via whatsapp group. The experience i got from the online teaching is the knowledge of how to use these various platforms to conduct online class and how to manage the class for the students to be able to understand and give them that classroom feel via online classes.
During the pandemic, students are really in need of help regarding classes, so we virtually held an online classes using various platforms like google meet, whatsapp and google classroom, etc. There have a lot of changes in using edu technology. Firstly, it has really update us from how we conduct classes before. Earlier, we are bound to teach using only the blackboard and now we are more into power point presentations, self-created videos, etc. Secondly, we are more able to manage classes online now. I can say that as educators, we are always ready to take up these challenges in order to create a future to our students.
During this pandemic we are using whatsapp group, pdf notes giving, audio and video .These are the iniciative we are taking to reach the students due to poor network problems.
We conducted online classes using google meet, zoom, google form, WhatsApp group and creating own videos and pdf files of subject matter. From time to time virtual meeting were conducted for students and teachers. The school has also created an online assembly in order to reach them with inspirational thoughts and encouragement especially in this challenging time. The major changes made in the school was the shift from offline to online module of teaching and imparting knowledge.
Online classes werr conducted by sending messages to students who cannot afford net classes. And for those who can avail latest mobiles ,Whattsap, Google meet, recorded videos, audios were used to interact with the students. And for those category who cannot afford the above technology hard copies were given out to them by asking them to come to school and collect the materials on every Monday.
We conducted online classes through WhatsApp and Google meet..had a tough time at first in network issues but now managed somehow gradually..n still carrying on ..
During the pandemic, we conduct online classes through a Whatsaap group and prepared a notes or an audio or a video for the students. For such students who are unable to connect the online classes through a Whatsaap we print out the prepared notes separately and distributed them at school or personally following the rules and protocols of covid 19.
As a teacher, i use to keep in touch with students by creating whatsapp group for general information and queries. The major changes during the pandemic is the introducing of online classes to keep students in continuing learning and many platform i have tried during online classes, like Zoom, google meet Webex, google classroom etc.Among these platform i found out that students were comfortable with google meet and google classroom. Even-though there were many ups and downs during pandemic time to run the online classes but yet we try to manage the best ways possible we can.
1. Conducting online classes through Zoom. 2. Sharing study materials (pdfs, audios and videos) through Whatsapp. 3. Providing links from YouTube for reference on different topics 4. Providing consultation through phone calls.
During the pandemic we can't access to online classes for our students due to can't afford smart phone by our student but we went to school several times and distributed notes
During pandamic we tried to touch with the students in online classes through WhatsApp but we face many problems due to poor network connection and some of the students cannot afford smart phones.
During the pandemic took online classes through Free conference call initially and later through Google meet. Also made videos to explain the difficult portions and send them through whatsapp
I am staying connected with my students on WhatsApp, Telegram and Google meet. I share 15–20-minute video lectures in the WhatsApp and Telegram group and use Google form for tests and feedback. I make and receive personal phone calls to clarify doubts and follow-up on their learning. Printed out material is delivered to some students who are unable to access the online mode.
During this pandemic we cope with student's through online classes but we face problems since some student's can't afford phones and facilities are too poor
Cannot used Google meet or any other applications due to network problems especially in rural areas Its difficult but still have to make short videos and send through whatsapp group so that it'll be easy for those in rural areas..
It is a difficult job for teachers like us who teached in remote areas where mobile network is always a problem. But during this pandemic it has improve my ways of connecting with students and they are open to share their problem for the benefit of their academic results. It has teached both teachers and students respectively to try different platforms of social media to learn, either through WhatsApp group or through recorded videos send by teachers and vice versa where it can be downloaded anytime if network problem exist in their area.
During 2019 and this year 2020 due to the pandemic, the lockdown situation cause us to drastically change our teaching method. Before it was always classroom interaction. At most sometimes I took the students to meet and interact with bankers to see the working of the money market.but 2019, 2020 being confined to our respective homes, we had to meet online through Google meet for interaction. After that if students needed extra help in sums either an extra class is taken later in the evening or I take a video of how the sum is being done and sent it to the students group on whatspp.
During the pandemic took online classes through Free conference call initially and later through Google meet. Also made videos to explain the difficult portions and sent them through whatsapp
During the Pandemic period we as Teachers as well as the learners faced many difficulties when it comes to the issue of poor network especially to students living in the far flung areas. However, the process of imparting education to the learners need to continue.During these tiring times drastic changes was brought about in order to impart online classes to the students. Most of these online classes were designed ,created and conducted by sending Lectures/ explanation ( Audios and videos),YouTube video links, related images, short questions and answers,MCQ,Assignments and assessments mainly through whatsapp. Getting feedback from the students is essential so as to evaluate the productiveness of te lessons delivered to the learners. The experiences from these online classes is the knowledge of how to use the various new platforms and technologies.
During this hard times, we started teaching through electronic mode, which is a very new way of teaching for us. But we adopt the mode as it is the need of the time. I personally started taking classes using google meet. It's Challenging but at the same time interesting.. It paves way of learning different methods of teaching for example, making power point ,videos some time animated power point and explaining through this besides whatsApp also used for distributing notes and important contents..
We use mostly Google meet for explanation and interaction, Whatsapp or Google classroom for sending notes, assignments, short video recording (explanation)
During this pandemic, we as teacher have started to get in touch with students through online mode, by conducting online class, created whatsapp group, sending video, audio, notes and trying to solve their doubt through phone call.
Conducted online class on google meet and whatsapp, but we have face many problem during online class such as network problem and in village some student dont have moblie phone.
During Covid 19, I had been touch with my students through online mode. We have class groups on whatsapp through which I transact the study materials to the students and ask them to clear their doubts on a particular chapter within a given time frame. The major change has been in the methodology of teaching. I have introduced regular quiz sessions, worksheets and short videos in the teaching process.
During the pandemic, we mostly used Google meet and WhatsApp for explanation, interaction, sending notes, assignments and project work to the students.
During COVID-19 pandemic, we remain in touch with students through online whatsapp platform. We share self prepared videos, notes, youtube link, information and images related to a concern subject on whatsapp. The major changes that introduced in teaching during COVID-19 pandemic is the change from traditional or regular way of teaching to innovative way of teaching by using new technology. We learned about various online educational platform that would help the students in learning. Besides all these innovative ways of teaching, online classes are not favourable due to poor network connectivity, students can't afford to recharge data every month, they can't afford to buy smartphones. Students doesn't learn 100% from these online platform and also it's a time consuming for us teachers as we have to create videos then recheck after that compressed so that students could download at small MB. Therefore I would say that yes, there is a positive changes as well as disadvantage for the students as well as teachers.
During this pandemic the only way to get in touch with our students is through online class or voice call...last time when i first started to teach online...most of the time i just send notes and recording only my hands and a paper to teach students to solve some problems on mathematics...this time i have teaching on white board and students are able to see their teachers ...and to make them feel like they are inside classroom....
During pandemic we interact with students through online portal which has in it pre recorded videos and assignments, from whatsapp we used to share all the notes and clarify doubt faced in by the students.
During the pandemic we are forced to make changes in our teaching process which at first was difficult but now we have adapted slowly preparing short teaching videos, uploading teaching materials and interacting through group chat.
When this pandemic happens even schools has been closed so the only to reach the students is through digital platforms ie whatapp by sending notes, sending audios for explaining the topics and even ask the students to listen to the audio if they don't understand they can call the teachers for clarification and also we ask them to read the notes that have been sent to them.
We remain in touch through online platform. The major changes in our approach to teaching are to adapt the behavioral changes of both teachers and the students when the normal classroom teaching is shifted to online teaching through WhatsApp, google meet, written works etc
The best strategy that i could reach out to students is only through whatsapp. Since almost all of our students came from very poor family, online teaching was impossible.
I remained in touch with my students mostly through Watsapp and phone calls. Teaching and learning is not the same anymore. Use of video/audio clips, YouTube videos, and sharing of information /explanations/notes..done through watsapp, google meet, google classroom. This sudden change to online mode has been quite a difficult experience for me but I think I am catching up now.
I create a what's app group with the students by means of which I share curriculum content videos (study materials), notes, assignments and other possible activities..
Since the global pandemic happens, teachers have worked collectively to find solutions and create new learning environments for our learners to ensures that learning must never stop. With the help of technology, teachers manage to keep in touch with the learners. However, we have to be mindful of those learners who come from low-income families and rural areas (where the poor network connectively is a problem) as they are unable to have access to Google meet or Zoom classes. We chose a digital platform to send video, as well as audio lessons, through the Whatsapp group.
Creating a separate subject group. Sending regular notes. Sending links of byjus videos (topic related ) from YouTube. And tried to interact with students in Zoom video conferencing but couldn't get 100% success due to network problem. Less attendance. Assessment for evaluating the performances of the students.
Tried to stay connected with the students with the help of whatsapp through group chat, and teaching online using the Teachmint app. I uploaded study materials for the students, conducted test through the use of Google form as well as teachmint app. Gave them activities to keep them engaging in the learning process. Give them youtube video links on various topics related to the teaching content.
Teachers and students had to adapt to new ways of teaching and learning during the Pandemic. Thanks to modern technology like youtube, whatsapp, google etc we were able to stay in touch with our students and continue with our lessons. As a teacher I had to learn new methods of teaching like, making short video clips and voice recordings on the lessons ,framing online assessments test etc. Online teaching is a big challenge not just for the teachers but also for the students. There are students who do not have proper network connectivity. As a teacher I could not get a genuine assessment of the students understanding of the lesson.
During this Pandemic I kept in touch with my students through platforms such as whatsapp, zoom , Google meet classrooms & youtube. Bad network connectivity has become an issue for many children in my area and therefore if some children cannot join the virtual classrooms like google meet and zoom then I send explanations through audios and messages in whatsapp so that these children can check the materials later when the net connectivity is better . I also keep in contact with them through phone calls when the need arises
I used messaging platforms like whatsapp and Google classrooms to stay in touch with my students where I shared different power point presentations and also gave them assignments to work on .
Major changes introduce 1) video lecture recording and send to students using link 2) focusing on the areas or the portion of the syllabus that students find easier and comfortable through online
During this pandemic period the only and convenient means of communication is online mode of learning, we have teaching to our students through various digital platforms like WhatsApp ,zoom app etc,so that they can access that easily and can understand what we taught them, at first we have given a through teaching about this pandemic and how we have get rid off from it, how can we became save from it, we need to wash our hand, use hand sanitizer, and keep distance maintains from one another to stop spreading this covid-19 pandemic, and have suggested that they should teach about that to others also those unknown about this, there after we have start our digital class and continue till now
During this pandemic we tried to reach out ti the students as much as we can. Initially it was a tough situation for both teachers and students so the only way to close the gap between us was to conduct online classes through WhatsApp, goggle form , screen recording of lectures, ppt as well as sending links from youtube.
The pandemic taught me new things . Though initially it was really very difficult but in the process of reaching out to the students I learn things like zoom, goggle classroom , goggle meet. Though whatsapp is a common platform yet it was not enough and thanks to the education dept for conducting training where we were trained how to reach out to the students through different platforms of technology available to us.
I conduct online class though it is difficult sometime of network problem so I have to repeat again the same .I used recording voice clips related to study materials ,google meet ,whatsapp giving notes ,assignment, audios used to interact with students.
In order to keep in touch with my students during this pandemic, I create What's App groups, where I shared important information related to studies, curriculum content videos, audios, notes, assignments and other activities.
Normal classes were not feasible during the covid-19, therefore videos on different chapters were made and discussed during classes through WhatsApp group . Some students were reluctant to ask inquiries, therefore a Google form was design to submit thier doubts or questions, not making it mandatory to mention their names. This allowed pupils to clarify their doubts and gain more response from them. The next, self-scoring test in their chapters was conducted in the form of MCQs (10 - 20 questions) using google form. Seeing their results strengthen their morality by looking even farther into the chapter. The test page also has the right answers and brief information to assist students to comprehend the correct responses.
The pandemic has brought us to an event that has push us to digitalization. We prepared ourselves to bring the best of online education to impart to the students. Teachers have engaged with different types of content such as videos, audio, presentations to reach out to the students and supplement the classroom teaching via WhatsApp. We even took up the responsibility to equip them with suitable coping mechanism due to lockdown by conducting Online School Activities.
Since classroom teaching was not possible because of the pandemic, teachers had to take up online teaching as the only source to impart education to the students. We supplemented the classroom teaching with videos, audios, presentation via WhatsApp.
During COVID-19 due to the weak internet coverage in the area where most of my students are located I remain in touch with them via whatsapp and google forms.
My teaching methods have change a lot. Much of my teaching depends solely on whatsapp. Sending home assignments in pdf, lectures in shortest possible video clips through it.
As the Head of the Institution I communicate with the teachers from time to time and ensure that each and every child are being monitored through online mode teaching. Teachers need to report once a month on their progress with their lessons taught. They are instructed to contact those students who do not response or attend the online classes so as to make sure that no child is left out.
During pandemic students were supplied notes through online and Xerox copy of notes were given to those students who can't afford Android mobile phone.
During covid-19 I remain intouch with my students through WhatsApp group, texting and phone calls. Major changes are introducing self preparatory audios and videos record related with the topic taught and sharing of videos through you tube.
During the pandemic period, as teachers we kept in touch with our students through online classes. We use Platform such as Whatsapp, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom to reach out to our students. Through these platforms we could also follow up on the students. Coming out of my comfort zone was the first change I brought about in my teaching. Preparing and making videos for students, preparing presentations for live/virtual classes, study materials, following your on students especially those who are not regular with online class are the major changes I introduced in my teaching.
The main focal point during this pandemic and with having to conduct online classes is to ensure that the learning processing and the teacher-pupil relationship continues and progresses. Daily online classes are taken through WhatsApp, lesson plans are framed and given to students for every chapter and lessons, self explanatory videos are sent to the students, you tube videos are sent to students relevant to the chapters for further understanding and instructional practice of read-aloud to ensure and encourage students to read their lessons. Apart from learning what is included in syllabus, our aim as teachers is to reach out to students who face difficulties with the online learning and other problems to help them during such challenges whether be it social or moral problems. The online teaching- learning process will continue to break through barriers and ensure learning will continue.
The pandemic has changed education dramatically resulting to remote learning on digital platform. This change has been very difficult for students of my school since they have no proper access to network connectivity. However inspite of this every effort was made to stay connected through whatsapp by sharing self made explanation videos, notes , phone calls for clarification, assessment through Google forms, Xerox notes for students who cannot afford smart phone
Ranjit Hajong, Share contact numbers, encourage the students through calls & special talk/ meet to the guardians to collect information about their children.
This Pandamic has made education very difficult due to network problems ...it has really change the whole system of educating the mass...In order to reach my student as most of them went to the village with poor network connectivity, effort was made to stay connected with them through watts app by sharing self-made explanation videos ,notes, phone calls (call them personally if they find any doubt related to the subject taught).
During this pandemic as we all know we have to get in touch with the students through a social media platform like whatsApp, google meet, and zoom app whereby the students themselves experience a new way of learning which is quite different from the normal class room teaching. Moreover, it has brought tremendous changes in the way the teacher tries to impart the knowledge so as to enable the students to achieve a positive learning outcome.
In this pandemic, online classes have become a complete new experience. Efforts are made to reach out and send students notes through WhatsApp, YouTube videos, use of audio& video explanations, personal calls for doubts clearing is also given due importance.
In our village electricity and network connection is very difficult and most of our students cannot afford smartphone,so I remain in touch with them through both offline and online classes.
Yes we conduct online classes by sending notes and video clips for the explanation on those notes on Whats App. But it is not an easy method since most of the students are not access to internet facilities and also they can not afford to buy smartphones.
This pandemic has reminded me that learning is a never ending process. I learnt new techniques of teaching through the online mode.Classes were conducted through sending videos, audio files. But ,personally, I felt ,justice could not be done much to the students. Online assessment which is a very new thing had to be conducted.
During the covid 19 pandemic, we remain in touch with our students through whatsApp platform, google meet, we share self prepared video, audio, and also provide YouTube link. The major changes that has been introduced in our teaching learning process is that suddenly we are switch to digital learning from the traditional mode. It is not easy to cope up with the new strategy due to poor network & regular power cut in Meghalaya. It has been observed by us that Motivation which is a integral part of classroom teaching is a missing link in the new technology based learning
During pandemic we interact with students through whatsapp, Google meet but not all the students are able to connect because some have network issues and so on.
During Covid19 pandemic,I remained in touch with students.Online classes were conducted through WhatsApp,videos, PDF files for sending notes and audios to students. For students from poor family background, notes was supplied through parents distribution.
Since physical meetings are not possible, the only means through which we remain in touch with our students is through the mobile phones. Information, instructions, explanations, etc., are sent to students through Whatsapp. Some students do seek further explanation and clarification either through phone calls or whatsapp messages. Using the modern gadgets is itself a major shift from the usual practice. It is realised that it is not so difficult use them and they would be very helpful if they could be used in a normal class situation. But as as of now, during this time of the pandemic, many students do not get much benefit from them for some reason or the other.
Using the internet is the only method to keep in touch with our students during this pandemic. To make notes, record videos, give presentations, and so on, we utilise our phones and computers. We communicate with our students through common applications such as Whatsapp groups, Google Meet, and Zoom, among others.
Teaching online is one of the most significant changes we've had to make in our teaching... To hold a student's attention in a video of a few minutes duration, we must make numerous modifications in our teaching technique.
We must employ a variety of computer software and phone applications to ensure that our students can read the content correctly, hear our instructions, and thus understand our lesson...
During Covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning process have seen many changes. Since there were no classroom teachings, we had to remain in touch with the students mainly through Google Classroom, Google Meet, Whatsapp etc. Important notes were given in google classroom and same were discussed elaborately in google meet. Short videos were prepared on different sctivities to make the subject matter easy and intetesting. Learners also were preparing video clips on activities done by them. Self learning process is initiated through videos and audios, guidances were given whenever needed.
Major changes brought in my teaching is to introduce many self learning activities, preparing videos on a topic and peer group interaction through open quiz and debate on zoom app / google meet.
Learning is a continuous process hence self learning is going on to modify teaching skills to inculcate subject interest among learners.
We conduct online classes through whatsapp,Google meet and sending videos and notes to students through whatsapp. Assignments and homeworks are also given to students.
During the pandemic,I keep in touch with my students by taking online classes through WhatsApp Groups. But many students were left unconnected as they don't have smartphones. I used to send notes, audioclips, and appropriate video's links to the students.
During covid 19, classes are conducted in online mode. To help students understand lessons being taught, study materials in the form of videos and notes are uploaded. If students have doubts then clarification is being done through group chat and phone calls.
During the covid 19 pandemic, we were in touch with the students through WhatsApp and conducted online classes through Google meet, prepare short videos, supplied them with study materials in Google class, gave them assignment and also conducted test for the students.
Through whatsapp, Google meet, zoom meeting. Students learned new technology, from teachers centric it became more students centric and teaching became more interactive.
Through google form, videos, whatsApp, YouTube videos. This lockdown helps the children, parents and teachers to explore the technology and know the different ways of teaching and learning.
During this Pandemic the only way to be in touch with the students is online classes. There is a drastic change for both the teachers and learners because we have to adopt new ways of teaching i.e through watsapp. So we send notes, audio, video for explanation only through this platform. I cannot use Google meet since in rural areas there is always a mobile network problem.
During covid19 pandemic, teaching and learning processes have seen may changes. But we conducted online classes through whatsaap, assignments were given and notes were shared via whatsapp.
During this Pandemic, I keep in touch with the students through online platforms like WhatsApp Group, videos, power point presentation, explanation through voice recording, giving notes to students, tracking daily attendance and also giving them assignments to work on and keeping track on their progress.
During this pandemic,we came in contact of our students by creating whatsApp groups,(of different classes) conducted online classes(Google meet) Shared videos. Given notes but very minimum number of students could join due to mobile issues
During the Pandemic (Covid-19), to remain in touched with the students, classes were taken through WhatsApp platform (mainly), Google Meet, we share self prepared videos, audios, and also provide YouTube links. The major change that is introduced in the teaching learning process is the shift from Classroom teaching to Online teachings, which i think have triggered various challenges to the teachers and students as well. These challenges needs to be cope and also take into consideration by the higher authorities for the smooth progress of the teaching learning process between teachers and students during these hard times.
Just as the pandemic has changed the dynamics of learning for students, it has also impacted methods of teaching. Whether they are tech-savvy or not, we have been shaken up overnight and forced to upgrade our pedagogical and communication tools. Different modes of communicating with students are still being used by us as Whatsapp, sharing weblinks, youtube videos with suitable content.
During the pandemic, the only feasible way to stay connected with students is through whatsapp and also other platforms like Google Meet etc. The teaching-learning process has changed drastically and lessons and explanations are sent via video/audio recordings.
During this Pandemic (Covid 19) I took online classes, through Whatsapp, Google Meet and also shared video, power point presentation to reach the students. Given notes through Whatsapp and also given regular assignment to make them understand.
Just as the pandemic has changed the dynamics of learning for students, it has also impacted methods of teaching. Whether they are tech-savvy or not, we have been shaken up overnight and forced to upgrade our pedagogical and communication tools. Different modes of communicating with students are still being used by us as Whatsapp, sharing weblinks, audio-video aids, youtube videos with suitable content etc. Challenges of poor network connectivity remain, however we are coping the same with alternative measures.
Despite the pandemic, learning which is an important process continues with the innovative methods of teaching. Technology sweeps in and as teachers we are able to reach out to our students through online mode of teaching. WhatsApp the most common platform is used, besides we have google meet, zoom, etc. Materials and course content in the form of audio, video clips, recordings, youtube links, images, powerpoint presentation, etc is made accessible to the student's group so they can download and learn. Group discussion, text messages and phone calls is made available to students to clarify their doubts. Challenging times indeed, but we have to create a positive mindset for our learner's to grow and progress.
During the event of the Covid - 19 the only way of keeping in touch with our students is using the digital platform such as the Goggle Meet, Zoom, YouTube and WhatsApp. the major changes made was conducting all class work in an online platform, as it started it was difficult for both me as teachers and my students adapting to this abrupt change but wit time students were able to cope but the majority of students are unable to do so because of network related problems

ReplyDelete. Teaching online have been difficult because we cannot access every student since all of them are not able afford smartphones ....
We ensures all students access teaching through sharing of notes.
DeleteDuring the pandemic, teaching and learning still continued and various online tools such as WhatsApp, Google Meet etc. were used to keep in touch with the learners. One of the major changes I used in my teaching is preparing short videos for the learners accompanied with the study materials. The link for students Feedback was share with the learners to understand the effectiveness of the material used and wherever modification or revision of the content is required.

ReplyDeleteWe use Online classes along with the notes...
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic we can't access to online classes for our students due to can't afford smart phones by our students and poor coverage of network..but we teachers went to school several times and distributed the notes ...
ReplyDeleteDuring COVID19 Pandemic situation when all academic institutions are literarily closed, we have been trying to reach to our students through online platforms like WhatsApp Groups, Google Meet, YouTube links etc. Though it was not an easy task as internet is not accessible in all places, moreover some of the students even do not have smartphones.
ReplyDeleteSome of the changes I have introduced are setting different time schedules for online classes, recording voice clips related to Study materials etc..
We use mostly Google meet for explanation and interaction, Whatsapp or Google classroom for sending notes, assignments, short video recording (explanation) & Google assessment for evaluating the performances of the students.
ReplyDeleteDuring the pendamic online classes was the only option to keep in touch with the students.we kept in touch through whatsapp, personal call, Google classroom, Google meet, Explanation was done through short videos, ppt .
ReplyDeleteFeedback was asked by giving them few questions after every chapter.

ReplyDeleteUsing WhatsApp and giving regular notes
ReplyDeletein the course of the Covid 19 Pandemic, we resorted to online classes, we made use of platforms such as watsapp and Google meet etc. As a teacher I enthusiastically started making videos and framing assignments for the students and sharing it with them. However, the most disheartening part is when students don't have the means or facilities to recieve and earn from what we have prepared for them.
ReplyDeleteThe only means to get in touch with the students was through Whatsapp. Many students were still left unconnected as they did not even have a moblie phone to access WhatsApp too. Most of the teachings has been through direct messages, audios and videos. Could not even use google meet.
ReplyDeleteDuring this time of pandemic we have been trying to reach out to our students Using whatsapp group to sends notes and using various online platform like Google Meet ,Zoom for explanations.
ReplyDelete.
ReplyDeleteThe major change in my teaching was creating videos for my lessons and sharing links from certain platforms that corelate with the learner's lessons.
ReplyDeletePersonal phone call followups is made to students who are not online so as to check in on their learning progress.
Giving notes through WhatsApp
ReplyDeleteWe conducted online classes via video conferencing platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom.
ReplyDeleteDuring the pandemic, students are really in need of help regarding classes, so we virtually held an online classes using various platforms like google meet, whatsapp and google classroom, etc.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic we are using whatsapp group, pdf notes giving, audio and video .These are the iniciative we are taking to reach the students due to poor network problems.

ReplyDeleteOnline classes werr conducted by sending messages to students who cannot afford net classes. And for those who can avail latest mobiles ,Whattsap, Google meet, recorded videos, audios were used to interact with the students. And for those category who cannot afford the above technology hard copies were given out to them by asking them to come to school and collect the materials on every Monday.

ReplyDeleteHave taken regular classes through videos and images in the whatsapp platform
DeleteAs a teacher, i use to keep in touch with students by creating whatsapp group for general information and queries.

ReplyDeleteCannot used Google meet or any other applications due to network problems especially in rural areas Its difficult but still have to make short videos and send through whatsapp group so that it'll be easy for those in rural areas..
ReplyDeleteIt is a difficult job for teachers like us who teached in remote areas where mobile network is always a problem.
ReplyDeleteDuring covid19 we use online class.Regular notes and short videos were given to the students through wats app

ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic conducting online classes through whatsapp by sharing notes through pdf, video, audio for explanation and you tube kink
ReplyDeleteConducting online classes through Whatsapp, Google classroom, Google Meet.
ReplyDeleteDuring 2019 and this year 2020 due to the pandemic, the lockdown situation cause us to drastically change our teaching method.
ReplyDeleteDuring the pandemic took online classes through Free conference call initially and later through Google meet. Also made videos to explain the difficult portions and sent them through whatsapp
ReplyDeleteWhatsApp, You tube educational links, notes, explanation through videos.
ReplyDeleteDuring the Pandemic period we as Teachers as well as the learners faced many difficulties when it comes to the issue of poor network especially to students living in the far flung areas.
ReplyDeleteDuring this hard times, we started teaching through electronic mode, which is a very new way of teaching for us.
ReplyDeleteWe use mostly Google meet for explanation and interaction, Whatsapp or Google classroom for sending notes, assignments, short video recording (explanation)
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic, we as teacher have started to get in touch with students through online mode, by conducting online class, created whatsapp group, sending video, audio, notes and trying to solve their doubt through phone call.
ReplyDeleteGiving notes to the students through WhatsApp and using audio classes

ReplyDeleteConduct online classes through wattapp group.
ReplyDeleteConducted online classes
ReplyDeleteConducted online class on google meet and whatsapp, but we have face many problem during online class such as network problem and in village some student dont have moblie phone.
ReplyDeleteBy doing the Google meet, zoom, WhatsApp voice
ReplyDeleteOnline class through whatsapp
ReplyDeleteDuring Covid 19, I had been touch with my students through online mode. We have class groups on whatsapp through which I transact the study materials to the students and ask them to clear their doubts on a particular chapter within a given time frame. The major change has been in the methodology of teaching. I have introduced regular quiz sessions, worksheets and short videos in the teaching process.
ReplyDeleteDuring the pandemic, we mostly used Google meet and WhatsApp for explanation, interaction, sending notes, assignments and project work to the students.
ReplyDeleteWe had classes through online mode
ReplyDeleteOnline classes,google meet,videos,& notes
ReplyDeletecreating watzapp group for each different class, using pdf for notes and also using youtube as a mean of learning
ReplyDeleteWith this pandemic situation we as teacher find ways and means to reach our students by conducting online class through wats app and Google meet
ReplyDeleteDuring COVID-19 pandemic, we remain in touch with students through online whatsapp platform. We share self prepared videos, notes, youtube link, information and images related to a concern subject on whatsapp.
ReplyDeleteThe major changes that introduced in teaching during COVID-19 pandemic is the change from traditional or regular way of teaching to innovative way of teaching by using new technology.
Mostly use Google classroom as the mean to send notes, youtube videos and used WhatsApp as alternative.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic the only way to get in touch with our students is through online class or voice call...last time when i first started to teach online...most of the time i just send notes and recording only my hands and a paper to teach students to solve some problems on mathematics...this time i have teaching on white board and students are able to see their teachers ...and to make them feel like they are inside classroom....
ReplyDeleteDuring pandemic we interact with students through online portal which has in it pre recorded videos and assignments, from whatsapp we used to share all the notes and clarify doubt faced in by the students.
ReplyDeleteDuring the pandemic we are forced to make changes in our teaching process which at first was difficult but now we have adapted slowly preparing short teaching videos, uploading teaching materials and interacting through group chat.
ReplyDeleteWhen this pandemic happens even schools has been closed so the only to reach the students is through digital platforms ie whatapp by sending notes, sending audios for explaining the topics and even ask the students to listen to the audio if they don't understand they can call the teachers for clarification and also we ask them to read the notes that have been sent to them.
ReplyDeletePpt voice over, notes are giving through whatsapp, Google meet, trying to connect with the learners.
ReplyDeleteWe remain in touch through online platform. The major changes in our approach to teaching are to adapt the behavioral changes of both teachers and the students when the normal classroom teaching is shifted to online teaching through WhatsApp, google meet, written works etc
ReplyDeleteThe best strategy that i could reach out to students is only through whatsapp. Since almost all of our students came from very poor family, online teaching was impossible.
ReplyDeleteI remained in touch with my students mostly through Watsapp and phone calls. Teaching and learning is not the same anymore. Use of video/audio clips, YouTube videos, and sharing of information /explanations/notes..done through watsapp, google meet, google classroom. This sudden change to online mode has been quite a difficult experience for me but I think I am catching up now.
ReplyDeleteI create a what's app group with the students by means of which I share curriculum content videos (study materials), notes, assignments and other possible activities..
ReplyDeleteWhatsApp , Google Meet and Zoom was used to share study materials and other activities.
ReplyDeleteOnline class throught google meet, zoom, and google classroom, whatapp for sending notes and assignments work.
ReplyDeleteSince the global pandemic happens, teachers have worked collectively to find solutions and create new learning environments for our learners to ensures that learning must never stop.
ReplyDeleteCreating a separate subject group. Sending regular notes. Sending links of byjus videos (topic related ) from YouTube. And tried to interact with students in Zoom video conferencing but couldn't get 100% success due to network problem.
ReplyDeleteLess attendance. Assessment for evaluating the performances of the students.

DeleteOnline Teaching is a challenge. With poor network connectivity it became all the more challenging. Whatsapp.. audio texts were the main tools.
ReplyDeleteTried to stay connected with the students with the help of whatsapp through group chat, and teaching online using the Teachmint app. I uploaded study materials for the students, conducted test through the use of Google form as well as teachmint app. Gave them activities to keep them engaging in the learning process. Give them youtube video links on various topics related to the teaching content.
ReplyDeleteTeachers and students had to adapt to new ways of teaching and learning during the Pandemic. Thanks to modern technology like youtube, whatsapp, google etc we were able to stay in touch with our students and continue with our lessons. As a teacher I had to learn new methods of teaching like, making short video clips and voice recordings on the lessons ,framing online assessments test etc.
ReplyDeleteOnline teaching is a big challenge not just for the teachers but also for the students.
ReplyDeleteI used messaging platforms like whatsapp and Google classrooms to stay in touch with my students where I shared different power point presentations and also gave them assignments to work on .
ReplyDeleteMajor changes introduce
ReplyDelete1) video lecture recording and send to students using link
2) focusing on the areas or the portion of the syllabus that students find easier and comfortable through online
The only way to get in touch with the student was online classes through watapps
ReplyDeleteI used messaging platforms like whatsapp and Google classroom sharing power point presentations and give assignments tothe students to do.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic period the only and convenient means of communication is online mode of learning, we have teaching to our students through various digital platforms like WhatsApp ,zoom app etc,so that they can access that easily and can understand what we taught them, at first we have given a through teaching about this pandemic and how we have get rid off from it, how can we became save from it, we need to wash our hand, use hand sanitizer, and keep distance maintains from one another to stop spreading this covid-19 pandemic, and have suggested that they should teach about that to others also those unknown about this, there after we have start our digital class and continue till now
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic we tried to reach out ti the students as much as we can. Initially it was a tough situation for both teachers and students so the only way to close the gap between us was to conduct online classes through WhatsApp, goggle form , screen recording of lectures, ppt as well as sending links from youtube.
ReplyDeleteThe pandemic taught me new things .
ReplyDeleteI conduct online class though it is difficult sometime of network problem so I have to repeat again the same .I used recording voice clips related to study materials ,google meet ,whatsapp giving notes ,assignment, audios used to interact with students.
ReplyDeleteIn order to keep in touch with my students during this pandemic, I create What's App groups, where I shared important information related to studies, curriculum content videos, audios, notes, assignments and other activities.
ReplyDeleteNormal classes were not feasible during the covid-19, therefore videos on different chapters were made and discussed during classes through WhatsApp group .
ReplyDeleteThe pandemic has brought us to an event that has push us to digitalization.
ReplyDeleteConducted classes, send YouTube videos, study materials, etc through WhatsApp...
ReplyDeleteSince classroom teaching was not possible because of the pandemic, teachers had to take up online teaching as the only source to impart education to the students. We supplemented the classroom teaching with videos, audios, presentation via WhatsApp.
ReplyDeleteconnect students through online classes by whatsApp
ReplyDeleteDuring COVID-19 due to the weak internet coverage in the area where most of my students are located I remain in touch with them via whatsapp and google forms.
ReplyDeleteMy teaching methods have change a lot. Much of my teaching depends solely on whatsapp. Sending home assignments in pdf, lectures in shortest possible video clips through it.
We are conducted Online Classes. This online classes provide students an adequate time to assimilate information.
ReplyDeleteOnline classes and sending notes through WhatsApp
ReplyDeleteAs the Head of the Institution I communicate with the teachers from time to time and ensure that each and every child are being monitored through online mode teaching. Teachers need to report once a month on their progress with their lessons taught. They are instructed to contact those students who do not response or attend the online classes so as to make sure that no child is left out.

ReplyDeleteDuring pandemic students were supplied notes through online and Xerox copy of notes were given to those students who can't afford Android mobile phone.
ReplyDeleteDuring covid-19 I remain intouch with my students through WhatsApp group, texting and phone calls.
ReplyDeleteMajor changes are introducing self preparatory audios and videos record related with the topic taught and sharing of videos through you tube.
I managed to remain in touch with the students through WhatsApp.
ReplyDeleteI managed to send notes and give explanations through audio recordings.
Conduct online classes through Whatsapp and giving regular notes and explanations to the students in the form of PDF files and audio files ..
ReplyDeleteDuring the pandemic period, as teachers we kept in touch with our students through online classes. We use Platform such as Whatsapp, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom to reach out to our students. Through these platforms we could also follow up on the students.
ReplyDeleteComing out of my comfort zone was the first change I brought about in my teaching. Preparing and making videos for students, preparing presentations for live/virtual classes, study materials, following your on students especially those who are not regular with online class are the major changes I introduced in my teaching.
We conduct ofline home assignments, home visit & students visit once in week to encourage the students.
ReplyDeleteThe main focal point during this pandemic and with having to conduct online classes is to ensure that the learning processing and the teacher-pupil relationship continues and progresses.
ReplyDeleteThe pandemic has changed education dramatically resulting to remote learning on digital platform.
ReplyDeleteRanjit Hajong,
ReplyDeleteShare contact numbers, encourage the students through calls & special talk/ meet
to the guardians to collect information about their children.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic as we all know we have to get in touch with the students through a social media platform like whatsApp, google meet, and zoom app whereby the students themselves experience a new way of learning which is quite different from the normal class room teaching. Moreover, it has brought tremendous changes in the way the teacher tries to impart the knowledge so as to enable the students to achieve a positive learning outcome.
ReplyDeleteWe keep in touch via Google Classroom, WhatsApp & Google Meet
ReplyDeleteIn this pandemic, online classes have become a complete new experience. Efforts are made to reach out and send students notes through WhatsApp, YouTube videos, use of audio& video explanations, personal calls for doubts clearing is also given due importance.
ReplyDeleteClasses conducted through WhatsApp, Google meet
ReplyDeleteIn our village electricity and network connection is very difficult and most of our students cannot afford smartphone,so I remain in touch with them through both offline and online classes.
ReplyDeleteI kept in touch with my students through watsapp
ReplyDeleteDuring the Covid-19 pandemic we took class through WhatsApp to reached the students
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic Covid 19 we took online classes through WhatsApp, and giving notes through PDF files.
ReplyDeleteYes we conduct online classes by sending notes and video clips for the explanation on those notes on Whats App. But it is not an easy method since most of the students are not access to internet facilities and also they can not afford to buy smartphones.
ReplyDeleteThis pandemic has reminded me that learning is a never ending process. I learnt new techniques of teaching through the online mode.Classes were conducted through sending videos, audio files. But ,personally, I felt ,justice could not be done much to the students. Online assessment which is a very new thing had to be conducted.
ReplyDeleteDuring this pandemic the only way we could be in touch with the students was online classes.
ReplyDeleteWe are taking online classes via Google meet, Free conference call app, whatsapp . Students from remote area face difficulties with internet.
ReplyDeleteDuring the covid 19 pandemic, we remain in touch with our students through whatsApp platform, google meet, we share self prepared video, audio, and also provide YouTube link.

ReplyDeleteI gave notes and video explanation through WhatsApp group.
ReplyDeleteOnline classes are taken, I keep in touch with my students through whatsApp.
ReplyDeleteThrough online class and sharing some important topics through whatsapp pdf file.
ReplyDeleteDuring pandemic we interact with students through whatsapp, Google meet but not all the students are able to connect because some have network issues and so on.
ReplyDeleteDuring Covid19 pandemic,I remained in touch with students.Online classes were conducted through WhatsApp,videos, PDF files for sending notes and audios to students. For students from poor family background, notes was supplied through parents distribution.
ReplyDeleteSince physical meetings are not possible, the only means through which we remain in touch with our students is through the mobile phones. Information, instructions, explanations, etc., are sent to students through Whatsapp. Some students do seek further explanation and clarification either through phone calls or whatsapp messages.
ReplyDeleteUsing the modern gadgets is itself a major shift from the usual practice.
ReplyDeleteTeaching online is one of the most significant changes we've had to make in our teaching...
ReplyDeleteSelf learning process is initiated through videos and audios, guidances were given whenever needed.
Major changes brought in my teaching is to introduce many self learning activities, preparing videos on a topic and peer group interaction through open quiz and debate on zoom app / google meet.
Learning is a continuous process hence self learning is going on to modify teaching skills to inculcate subject interest among learners.
During this pandemic we conducted online classes, send notes via Whatsapp, prepare short videos and assignments were given to the students.
ReplyDeleteDuring this time, we take class through whatsApp, give notes and audio explanation as most this is the only platform where I can reach my students
